Artificial Ties

My three OC's, all in the same ref shot for the first time

Actually, i have a few more TFA oc's, but they arent nearly as well constructed, they're all just extra tidbits of fun on the side. These guys have a story.

Based off my top three favourite sports cars, in order, we have Zoomlight (nissan 350z), Driftkick (Mazda rx - 8) and Hightorque (Audi TT ).
Their names, save for the last one, are pretty retarded, but im not great at TF names.
Their back-story is pretty stupid too, but I love 'em anyway. They make for good RP and doodling fodder.

So, short of it is, they were created as one artificial spark experiment (Wheeljack and Perceptor trying to create life without the Allspark). Originally, only one frame would be onlined, and the others would be seperately sparked in this artificial means if it proved successful.
The frames themselves were also an experiment. New design, new alloys, all based on the idea of a lightweight, speed based efficient fighter. A new weapon to defend against the Decepticon scourge.

However, the experiment didn't quite go as planned. They succeeded at making the artificial spark, but it was so unstable it split into three rather weak sparks, which they then had to sustain while they created smaller protoforms.

They nurtured the split spark triplets, and the sparks strengthened with follow up treatments and boosts. The experiment, while it succeeded, was not viable given the huge amounts of power and energon necessary for the process to succeed.

The Decepticons also got wind of the experiment, and thinking the newly sparked bots were weapons (which they kind of were), they raided the science centre. They ended up stealing Hightorque right after his first frame up-grade.
He never got into the body originally made and intended for him to grow into, and the 'Cons instead studied him and copied his alloys and built him a new frame, thinking he would be a key weapon to turn the tide against the Autobots.

This, however, was not to be. His artificial spark was never going to be able to support a frame bigger than the ones his siblings would occupy, and so he is actually rather weedy.
The 'Cons basically treated him like shit when they realised he wasn't some awesome super weapon, and he became hardened and bitter due to his tortured existance amoung them. Essentially, his coding is Autobot, but his frame programming conflicts with that, causing him more problems and anger.

Meanwhile, his other two siblings grew up under Wheeljack and Perceptor's instruction. They underwent the necessary training for the Elite Guard, but neither had their spark trully set on fighting.
The scientists respected this, but the two ended up working for the guard anyway, in very low ranking positions. They roam around now, picking up extra credits by performing in energon bars. Driftkick turned out to be a very good singer. Zoomlight isn't bad, but she generally does instrumental better.

The reason they run around a lot is because their sibling, Hightorque, now spends his megacycles chasing after them, intent on inflicting his own pains on his brother, and to a lesser extent his sister. He believes they deserve to feel what he has gone through.
It's a bad situation, but until Hightorque calms down enough to see reason, it's how life is for them.

Hightorque is, despite his lightness and weedyness compared to other 'Cons, exceptionally vicious and quick with his weaponry.
He has energon scythes that generate from the spiked protrusions near his elbow joints.
Zoomlight uses energon blades that generate from above her wrists, and Driftkick uses a pistol-grip energy foil as his weapon. He's only average with it though, skill-wise.

Driftkick is in fact the weakest fighter of the three. He is however the fastest. Zoomlight is his guard when he goes on intel carrying missions. She is a decoy-bot, has exceptional manouverability and is an excellent melee fighter. Her speed isn't great though.
Hightorque is the best with his weapons. He's also an artist, but he doesn't often employ the skill. It wasn't exactly nurtured within the Decepticon ranks.

So YEA. Thats my hoes.

I guess i failed to mention DK and ZL are total WHORES. Yea, something about artificial sparks... they read like normal ones, but the bots interface drives are quite a bit higher than a normal mechs. So they're usually on the prowl for berthmates when not on shift or fighting or fleeing for thir lives

Also, ZL has undergone a MAJOR overhaul, i am now finally pleased with her design. I also did a teensy bit to Hightorqe. DK is DK, and he's secretly my fave, shhhhh.
